An employee at the Space Station Processing Facility performs engineering certification testing of the Alpha Magnetic spectrometer (AMS). The AMS is a superconducting magnet that will be used in an experiment from the International Space Station (ISS) to search for antimatter and dark matter in space. The testing is being performed to ensure that data flow from the external payload AMS and the internal AMS crew operation post can be successfully routed through the ISS systems.
