EV3 Mike Foreman, STS-123 Mission Specialist (MS), in the broken red striped Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU), helps tie down the Orbiter Boom Sensor System (OBSS) on the International Space Stations (ISS) S1 truss during Extravehicular Activity 5 (EVA 5). The structure at the end of the boom is a transmission device for laser imagery from the laser devices used for scanning the thermal protection system.
