The Colorado River runs from upper right to lower left. The lower portion of the picture is Mexico, the upper left is California, and the upper right is Arizona. The altitude of the spacecraft was 90 miles. Young used a hand-held modified 70mm Hasselblad camera with color film. The lens setting was 250th of a second at f/11.
