At NASA Kennedy Space Center, orbiter Atlantis is lowered onto the Mobile Launcher Platform for mating with the Solid Rocket Boosters (SRB) and External Tank already there. The SRBs are visible behind Atlantis on either side. Atlantis is the designated orbiter for Return to Flight mission STS-121. The lighted planning window for launch extends from Sept. 9 to Sept. 25.
