At the STS-114 Launch Readiness Press Conference at NASA Kennedy Space Center, the plan to launch July 26 is confirmed. Hale is holding an ECO (engine cut-off) sensor similar to the one in Space Shuttle Discoverys External Tank that had a faulty reading in the first launch attempt.
