A through-the-window view of astronaut Chris A. Hadfield, STS-100 mission specialist representing the Canadian Space Agency (CSA), was taken during the first extravehicular activity (EVA) of the STS-100 mission. This digital still camera's image was captured by the Expedition Two crew through the nadir window of the Destiny Laboratory with a digital still camera. The window and much of Destiny can be seen in the visor of Hadfield's helmet.
