The Hubble Space Telescope (HST) is backdropped against the blackness of space in this 70mm frame recorded during a video survey of the spacecraft following the telescope's recent berthing in the Space Shuttle Endeavour's cargo bay. European Space Agency (ESA) scientist Claude Nicollier controlled the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm slowly so that mounted TV cameras could show flight controllers the various areas on the telescope.
