Cosmonaut Yuri P. Gidzenko, Expedition One's Soyuz commander, prepares to take pictures through the porthole in the Destiny laboratory. Gidzenko's photos will document parts of the second STS-98 space walk in the cargo bay of the Space Shuttle Atlantis. The legs of one of the space walkers can be seen through the window. Representing the Russian Aviation and Space Agency along with another cosmonaut, Gidzenko is part of a three man crew that initiated full-time habitation of the outpost in early November of 2000.
