Astronaut Stephen G. Bowen, STS-126 mission specialist, is submerged in the waters of the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) near Johnson Space Center. Bowen is attired in a training version of the Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) spacesuit. SCUBA-equipped divers are in the water to assist Bowen in his rehearsal, intended to help prepare him for work on the exterior of the International Space Station.
