Four Soviet engineers take part in Apollo-Soyuz Test Project docking simulations in Building 35 at the Johnson Space Center. They are, left to right, Vladimir B. Ivanov (seated in foreground), Gennadiy I. Vlasov (wearing flight suit), Vladimir P. Petrov (wearing sweater), and Gennadiy A. Sushchev (U.S. flag on sleeve). They were monitoring procedures checkout for transferring the television between the Apollo and Soyuz spacecraft. Ivanov is a section chief with the Leningrad Research Institute of Television; Vlasov is the chief of research at the same institute; Petrov is a senior researcher with the Outerspace Research Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences; and Sushchev is a senor researcher at the Leningrad institute.
