Views of Mission Specialist Ronald McNair monitoring laboratory rats in the Animal Enclosure Module (AEM) experiment. The rats are in a fully self contained middeck stowage locker animal enclosure module so that crewmembers only have to monitor the cage to verify that all systems are functioning normally. McNair checks the position of the data gathering camera mounted on the middeck lockers over the open stowage locker containing the AEM experiment.
