The orbiter Discovery is lowered in the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building. Discovery was demated from its External Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters in high bay 1 and lifted over the cross-beam into the transfer aisle. The orbiter will be placed on a transporter and moved to high bay 3 for remating with another tank, ET-121. Discovery is expected to be rolled back to the launch pad in mid-June for Return to Flight mission STS-114. The launch window extends from July 13 to July 31.
