This view of the suspended 122-foot-long orbiter Discovery shows the underside with the Thermal Protection System tiles that cover it. After being demated from its External Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters in high bay 1, Discovery is being lowered in the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building. The orbiter will be placed on a transporter and moved to high bay 3 for remating with another tank, ET-121. Discovery is expected to be rolled back to the launch pad in mid-June for Return to Flight mission STS-114. The launch window extends from July 13 to July 31.
