Dr. James Hallock looks over a portion of a solid rocket booster in the Hangar AF (the SRB Disassembly Facility). He is a member of the Columbia Accident Investigation Board that is visiting sites at KSC to become familiar with the Shuttle launch process and elements. The independent board is charged with determining what caused the destruction of the Space Shuttle Columbia and the loss of its seven-member crew on Feb. 1 during reentry.
