An overview of the floor of the RLV Hangar shows some of the Columbia debris collected and identified. Approximately 4,500 ground searchers have covered approximately 56 percent of the planned 555,000-acre search area. About 28 percent of the Shuttle Columbia, by weight, has been delivered to the RLV Hangar to date.
