Backdropped against a blue and white Earth, an unpiloted Progress 10 supply vehicle departs from the Zvezda Service Module’s aft docking port on the International Space Station (ISS) carrying its load of trash and unneeded equipment to be deorbited and burned up in the atmosphere. As the Progress undocked, the ISS was flying 240 statute miles over eastern China. The undocking clears the way for the arrival of a new Progress 12, filled with fresh supplies, which is planned to dock to the Station at 10:45 p.m. (CDT) on August 30, 2003.
