The Soyuz TMA-7 vehicle rolled to its launch pad at the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on Sept. 29, 2005 in preparation for its launch Oct. 1 (Kazakhstan time). The liftoff will send astronaut William S. McArthur, Jr., Expedition 12 commander and NASA ISS science officer; cosmonaut Valery I. Tokarev , Russia's Federal Space Agency Expedition 12 flight engineer and Soyuz commander; Greg Olsen, space participant, to the International Space Station (ISS).
