The Forward Attach Point is installed on the orbiter Discovery, near the nose landing gear. Insulating blankets and tiles, part of the Thermal Protection System, have been installed around it. The equipment attaches the External Tank to the orbiter. Discovery is the orbiter designated for the Return to Flight mission, STS-114. The launch window is May 12 to June 3, 2005.
