In the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASAs Kennedy Space Center, Troy Smith, with Lockheed Martin Astronautics, pulls off tabs from the heating element to test the bonding to the bellows. The element was recently attached to the liquid hydrogen feedline bellows on External Tank 121. Seen behind Smith is the External Tank. The tank will be used on the orbiter Discovery for Return to Flight mission STS-114, which has a launch window extending from July 13 to July 31.
